Administrative Licence Suspension (ALS) licence suspension
Your driver’s licence can be temporarily removed if:
  • you refuse to give a breath sample for an alcohol test; or
  • the test shows you have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of more than .08 (80 mg%)
You do not have to be convicted of driving while impaired to have your licence suspended. Also known as an administrative licence revocation.
